SME Export Promotion Council of India is initiated by Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe, President, Small & Medium Business Development Chamber of India (SME Chamber of India) and India International Trade Centre (IITC-INDIA) to support and assist SMEs to initiate and enhance export business activities, to establish contacts in various countries, to understand the potential for their products and services as well as to utilise the support services and financial assistance available to the SMEs for their better growth.
SME Export Promotion Council of India will put exclusive efforts for the development of exports by organising various activities, appointment of representatives, agents in various countries, market development, organise exhibitions, conferences, buyer-seller meets, business matchmaking and other trade promotional activities in various countries.
SME Export Promotion Council of India will also set up permanent display centres in various countries to display and project products and services of SME segment at competitive cost.
SME EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL OF INDIA is registered as a not for profit organisation under section 25 of Indian Companies Act 1956.
